Woman Scream Publishes "Scream" Anthology

 

 

The Woman Scream (Grito de Mujer) cause, launches its tenth international anthology titled SCREAM! a compilation that includes female and male poets and visual artists who had participated in its most recent call for submissions.

This book will have a black and white softcover version and, as a novelty, a special hardcover edition in full color as a way to highlighting the magnificent art of those who contributed their talent in this occasion.

The SCREAM! Anthology includes poems written by 39 poets that vindicate the voice of women and the importance of advocating for her rights to a life free of violence. It also includes the images of 4 visual artists of different nationalities: René Westbrook (USA) who's art is featured on the book cover, Nina Ma (China), Siram Waham (India), Travernelle Wells (Trinidad & Tobago), whose works are specifically based on the women figure.


This edition is dedicated to the hundreds of women and men who, around the world, have contributed with their talent, time, resources and effort, to ensure that the social mission of the Woman Scream (Grito de Mujer) cause is heard throughout the world.

For Women Poets International Movement (Mujeres Poetas Internacional MPI Inc.) and the Woman Scream Festival's team, these are the true heroes and heroines of the cause and without their constant support, this mission's success would not have been possible.
