Synopsis

It is a tribute to the courage of the native people of Comechingón (Argentina). Its red sandstone mountains carved by the winds, have the caress of the moon, the roar of the sun.

Ongamira, rich in minerals, is the energy of everything created and carries the heritage of their sculpted souls in the caves and in the collective consciousness that is maintained through the cultivation of native plants. An awareness that, in the present, makes us reflect on that past and at the same time learn to be with silence, understanding our place in the world. Ongamira is the body of the sacred land and the spirit of the ancestors.

The choreographic and theatrical work is located in the Ongamira valley, passing through the Pajarillo hill, the Uritorco hill, the Charalqueta hill and the city of ERKS. Rituals and transformations take place in the valley of the moon, the coexistence of primitive man and woman, the discovery of the parasitic possession of our organs and our brain. The force of a land that expels and attracts people in the same way. Ongamira is solitude and teaches us to discover the here and now, connecting physically and spiritually. The nest, the walls we build, the environment necessary for subsistence, the death that is always in front of our eyes. Ongamira was a healing center that, even in these times, places us in the very center of the earth and the cosmos, taking care of us as individuals and in community. Ongamira beats and is a certainty in the heart.
