On March 15, 2025, Miami resonated with the power of art and social awareness as it hosted the 15th anniversary of the Woman Scream cause. From 4:00 p.m., Secret Bunker Studios became a haven for powerful voices and united hearts. A large sign at the entrance welcomed attendees with a clear message of support for the migrant community, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

A Night of Recognition and Empowerment

Event host Sandra Pex, who has coordinated the festival in Florida for the past five years, opened the evening with heartfelt gratitude and excitement. She welcomed the artists and enthusiastic audience before introducing a very special guest: Jael Uribe, founder of Woman Scream, who had traveled to Miami to celebrate this milestone.

Taking the microphone, Uribe ignited the room with a passionate “Miami, today we scream!” She spoke about the challenges of organizing an event like Woman Scream but also of the immense fulfillment in seeing so many voices come together for a shared cause. She reminded attendees that, simultaneously, ten other countries were celebrating the festival and emphasized this year’s theme: "It’s Not a Game", a powerful stand against child marriage. Her words resonated deeply, reinforcing the power of art in transforming realities.
