Woman Scream 2025 Begins in 30 countries

The Woman Scream Festival 2025 Begins with Events in Over 30 Countries.

Throughout the month of March, the world will unite in a single scream: *It’s Not a Game!* This marks the beginning of the 2025 Woman Scream International Festival, a series of artistic and cultural events taking place across 30+ countries to raise awareness against child marriage and gender-based violence.  

From poetry recitals, art exhibitions, and conferences to live performances and community activities, each participating city will add its unique touch to this global movement. Every event is independently organized by volunteers, cultural institutions, and activists dedicated to the cause.  

A Global Scream for Girls  

Organized by the Women Poets International Movement MPI, Inc. from the Dominican Republic, Woman Scream has been a powerful platform for art and activism for 15 years. This year, the festival joins UN Women’s Generation Equality initiatives for the fourth consecutive year and part of the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM/OAS).
